About

I’m a 30-something Black woman in Denver, Colorado.  I’m an extreme introvert, INFJ, creative, and a lover of all things artistic.  This is a blog about my life as an introvert and my aspirations to be a more creative person.

Hi — I found your blog when I saw your tweet today. I can certainly relate to the “quiet” comments you get. I get them all the time too; I think I’m finally at the point where it doesn’t bother me anymore.

I’ve started blogging over at http://www.theconfidentintrovert.com and I’m adding your blog to my feed reader. Look forward to having some great conversations about introverts!

Thank you for your comment. I’m glad that you can relate to the “quiet” comment. I really like your blog and it speaks to my soul as an introvert.

People cause me to be an introvert, sick of all the bs.Can one be an introvert extrovert ?Hmmm

I believe a person can be an introvert extrovert. I’m more extroverted when I’m with my friends and family and when I’m doing something I really love. I think most people have a need to be social as well as a need to be alone.

Amazing! I just started my “introverted” blog a few days ago when I came across yours. Found I can relate to so much of what you wrote.

I will add your blog to my blogroll – an introverted way of keeping in touch :)

Thank you for writing this blog. Only recently have I started understanding myself. Books and blogs like these make me feel empowered. I feel happy and self-directed and am more in tune with what I need now. I’m still nervous around extroverts because I hate to feel like I’m being pitied or ignored. Either way, reading your posts will help me to continue on this path to confident introvertedness.

Thank you for your comment! I’m happy that my blog as well as other books are helping you to understand your introversion and to help you to feel empowered. I still sometimes struggle with being introverted when I’m surrounded by a lot of extroverts but I’ve learned that self-acceptance is the key to happiness.

    Hello,
The other day a friend of mine shared a link on facebook. As an introvert myself, I loved it. Maybe you’ve watched this already.

Thank you for the link. I read the book Quiet (I recommend it if you haven’t read it already) by this author and I enjoyed hearing her speak.

Hi Nina, found you by blog-hopping, and wanted to tell you how much I’m enjoying yours. It’s nice to hear from other introverts, especially with the same personal history with Religion & Spirituality. We have much in common. Looking forward to reading more.

    All the best to you!

Thank you for your comment! I’m also happy to know other bloggers who are introverted as well. I’ll be writing news posts soon.
